DB2 SERVER HANGS WHILE RUNNING QUERY WITH TRIM OR STRIP SCALAR FUNCTION |

| Problem description: |
In rare circumstances, executing a DB2 query may cause a hang on
the DB2 server. A stack dump of the hanging process will show
sqlriStripVarchar at the top. Any query that uses the TRIM or
STRIP scalar functions is susceptible to this problem. |
