UNABLE TO KEEP LOCK ON BASE TABLE BEYOND COMMIT WHEN USING WITH HOLD CURSORS FOR XML |

| Problembeschreibung: |
Purpose of this fix is to remove the second lock strategy for
XML in non RP tables and replace it with the current RP
strategy.
The fix is needed because currently the strategy for XML in
non-RP tables does not keep the table locked beyond commit
which is needed when we have a with HOLD cursor interleaved with
COMMIT (Read following email thread for specific scenario).
There is an existing strategy recently implemented for RP
tables which can be applied to non-RP tables and avoid having
two
solutions (for RP and non RP). |
