When the database configuration parameter STMTHEAP is set to
AUTOMATIC and there is enough memory in APPL_MEMORY and
INSTANCE_MEMORY, DB2 can still return SQL0101N when compiling a
complex SQL query.
To assess if you are experiencing the problem, which typically
does not consistently return a -101, review the sqlcode returned
when a -101 is not received from statement compilation:
a) If you observe a +437 rc2 from sqlca.sqlerrp=SQLNO24F, then
it is the problem.
b) If you observe a +437 that is not case a, then it could be
the problem, but it can not be confirmed definitively.
c) If you observe no warnings, then it is not the problem. |
