THE AWK UTILITY IN THE DB2PROFILE SCRIPT IS CAUSING JVM CRASH. |

On Solaris Operating Environments the JVM crashes.
The awk utility in the db2profile script does not work correctly
with very long strings. If the CLASSPATH environment variable
has a value that exceeds 2560 characters then the resulting
CLASSPATH variable gets truncated and the JVM crashes. |

"awk" with "nawk" - a newer awk compatible utility. |
