This apar will allow predicates with the following pattern :
col LIKE (CASE WHEN expression THEN action ELSE else END).
to be simplified by the query rewrite component of the query
compiler if the "expression" in the case statement can be
evaluated at compile time.
This will improve filter factor estimates for the compiler and
will avoid non optimal access plans. |
