INSTALLFIXPACK FAILS TO APPLY ON TOP OF A CLIENT INSTALL CONTAINING A CLIENT INSTANCE |

| Problembeschreibung: |
If DB2 V9.7 Client is installed and a client type instance
exists, installFixPack fails to update the install copy.
e.g. The log file would contain the following error:
DBI1165E Instance db2inst1 is not accessible on the following
database partitions: machineA
Preparing the system :.......Failure
After applying the fix, there should be no errors in the log
file and fixpack update should complete successfully. |
