In the process of migration all online backups are marked as
expired. These are the steps to reproduce the problem:
1. In old version make sure the following database
configurations are set:
db2 update db cfg using AUTO_DEL_REC_OBJ ON
db2 update db cfg using REC_HIS_RETENTN <value>
db2 update db cfg using NUM_DB_BACKUPS <value>
2. Take both online and offline backups and verify the images
are
there.
3. Migrate to new version
4. Verify that after migration all the images are still there
5. Take a backup on the new version.
6. Verify that all online images have been deleted.
The db2diag.log will contain entries such:
