DB2 - Problembeschreibung

Problem IC71417 Status: Geschlossen

DB2 BACKGROUND EDUS MIGHT BE SHUT DOWN UNEXPECTEDLY DURING NODE FAILURE
RECOVERY

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
DB2 background EDUs such as the WLM statistics daemon or event
monitor fast writers might get interrupted by node failure
recovery and shut down rather than handling the interrupt and
continuing execution.

When the problem occurs, you will see db2diag.log messages like
below:

And at the same time, it might also cause one of the fast writer
EDUs to shut down. For example, in the below EDUs output, db2fw2
is missing.

When one of the db2 fast writers is gone, it can cause newly
issued DB2 commands such as db2 connect/global snapshot and new
queries to hang.
