DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2

The DB2 Design Advisor (db2advis) may terminate abnormally while 
reading the workload to evaluate from an input file. 
 
This can occur when the input workload is specified from a file, 
i.e., -[i|file] <input-file> command-line option is used. 
Additionally, one or more of the following should be true: 
a) <input-file> contains statement(s) that exceed the maximum 
length allowed for an SQL statement, i.e., 2097152 bytes, OR 
b.i) <input-file> contains statements that are terminated using 
anything other than the statement terminator specified with the 
-delim command-line option or the default statement terminator, 
i.e., ; (semicolon), when the -delim command-line option is not 
specified 
b.ii) The combined length of any incorrectly terminated 
statements exceeds the maximum length allowed for an SQL 
statement

Ensure that all statements in the input workload file are 
terminated properly and do not exceed the maximum allowed SQL 
statement length.
