DB2 - Problembeschreibung

Problem IC77108 Status: Geschlossen

DB2 .NET DATA PROVIDERS ARE NOT CONFIGURED CORRECTLY WHEN DB2NMPSETUP.EXE
IS EXECUTED

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
On a windows system where .Net framework (v2 and/or higher) and
DB2 products are installed, the DB2 .Net Data Providers were not
configured correctly when the db2nmpsetup.exe tool is executed,
either by
1). execute the tool directly, which is under ~\sqllib\bin,
or
2), launch it from its shortcut: Start->Program Files->IBM
DB2->DB2COPY1->Setup Tools->Configure DB2 .NET Data Provider

What this tool should do is to
1). Register the DB2 .NET Data Providers with machine.config of
the .Net Framework, and
2). Register the DB2 .NET Data Providers with Global Assembly
Cache (GAC), if it is the default DB2 Client interface copy on
the system.
