Problem IC77221 | Status: Geschlossen |
AUTOMATIC CLIENT REROUTE IS TRIGGERED EVEN IF IT WAS NOT ENABLED BY THE APPLICATION
Produkt: | |
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
Starting with DB2 9.7 FP3a, the automatic client reroute (ACR) feature is enabled by default. With previous versions, if you have disabled Connection-level WLB by setting one of the following : 1. By setting "ConnectionLevelLoadBalancing=false" in db2dsdriver.cfg. 2. Catalog a DCS directory without specifying SYSPLEX as a DCS parameter. 3. Set DISABLESYSPLEX=TRUE in db2cli.ini file 4. Set connection attribute SQL_ATTR_DISABLE_SYSPLEX=1 ACR and connection level load balancing were disabled. Now, with DB2 9.7 FP3a, only connection level load balancing is disabled and as a consequence, if your application hits a communication error with your DB2 server, instead of reporting an error immediatly, the application will keep retrying the connection to your DB2 server repeatedly for up to 10 minutes before returning an error.
