DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 950 - DB2

This problem occurs when a reorg recommended operation alter 
column is performed on a partitioned table which has outstanding 
asynchronized Index Cleaning (AIC) jobs. DB2 instance crashed 
with the following in db2diag.log:

When encountering the problem, after crash, use the following 
to by pass AIC in crash recovery: 
1) set DB2_DISABLE_ABP=yes 
2) drop index and recreate the index 
3) unset DB2_DISABLE_ABP 
 
Use the following to avoid the problem: 
Check if there are outstanding index cleanup jobs from SYSTASKS 
before ALTER a column.

 DB2 Version 9.5 Fix Pack 10 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows
 

The problem is first fixed in DB2 version 9.5.0.9.
