DB2 - Problembeschreibung

Problem IC81470 Status: Geschlossen

Catalog node failure can lead to application and database staying up
causing -1229 for subsequent connections

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
An application can be created on a database without the catalog
node dependency reflected on the application. This can lead to
the application not being interrupted when a catalog node
failure occurs. The application can in turn keep the database
(which is marked as SQLENODEFAIL) up on one or more nodes, which
causes other connection attempts to return -1229.
