Problem IC82922 | Status: Geschlossen |
LOCATION OF DB2CLI.INI AND DB2DSDRIVER.CFG FILES ARE NOT AS SPECIFIED FOR DS DRIVER AND 32-BIT APPLICATIONS
Produkt: | |
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
When installing the 64-bit version of the IBM Data Server Driver Package on a Windows machine, the location specified for the 'DB2 Common Application Data Top Path' may not be used for 32-bit applications. The DB2 Common Application Data Top Path is used to store files such as the db2cli.ini and db2dsdriver.cfg. For 32-bit applications the path that was set during installation will not be used if the path specified is different from the default path. The default path is different depending on the version of Windows that is being used. On Windows XP and Windows Server 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IBM\DB2\driver_copy_name\cfg On Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008: C:\ProgramData\IBM\DB2\driver_copy_name\cfg 64-bit applications however will continue to use the proper path that was specified during the installation.
