DB2 - Problembeschreibung

Problem IC84298 Status: Geschlossen

SQL30108N ERROR RETURNED - SEAMLESS FAILOVER WITH SCROLLABLE CURSORS AND
DB2 FOR Z/OS

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
When scrollable cursors are used against DB2 for z/OS, deferred
prepare is disabled even if you have enabled it.
In this case, two requests are sent to the DB2 for z/OS, one for
the prepare statement and another one for the execute statement
: the prepare statement is considered as the first SQL statement
and the execute as the second SQL statement. If the connection
between your application and the DB2 for z/OS is lost during the
execute statement, the seamless failover won't be triggered and
error SQL30108N will be returned by the application because the
following condition won't be true anymore.

One condition for the seamless failover to occur for direct
connections to DB2 for z/OS is
- The connection is not in a transaction. That is, the failure
occurs when the first SQL statement in the transaction is
executed
