DB2 - Problembeschreibung

Problem IC89241 Status: Geschlossen

INSTANCE ABEND DURING DATABASE ROLLFORWARD

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
During a database rollforward, we may encounter an unexpected
End of File (EOF) while prefetching pages if an automatic DMS
tablespace is repeatedly being expanded during the rollforward.
The DMS tablespace needs to have been created prior to v97 (i.e.
a migrated database) for this to occur.

Local-Fix:
The workaround is to db2set DB2_AVOID_PREFETCH=ON This can have
a negative performance impact, so do not leave this set after
the rollforward is completed.
