DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2

When silent installation of Runtime Client is done with 
CREATE_ICON=NO , db2.exe is not installed. 
 
The problem is recreatable as follows : 
 
 1. In the RSP file, marked the CREATE_ICONS = NO. 
 
2. Silent installation of runtime client done : 
"v9.7fp4_ntx64_rtcl.exe /S /v"/l*v rtcl.log /qn 
RSP_FILE_PATH=c:\rsp\db2rtcl.rsp" 
 
3. Now under start -> All Programs -> IBM DB2 ,  the RUNTIME 
client copy is not seen. 
 
4. Also under the installed DB2 path , example : C:\Program 
Files (x86)\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN , DB2.EXE is not installed. It is 
missing 
 
5. Did silent installation by setting CREATE_ICONS = Yes and 
under BIN folder DB2.EXE is seen.

Do the silent installation with CREATE_ICONS=YES

DB2 Version 10.1 Fix Pack 4 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows
 DB2 Version 10.1 Fix Pack 6 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows
 

The problem is resolved in DB2 V10.1 fp4
