INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / C10 - IDS 12.10

Consider a regular table with a not null constraint for the text 
column. 
If you try to use export and import data from this table by 
creating an external table, inserting form the regular 
table into the external table and then inserting the same data 
back into the orignal table, this last insert 
will fail with a 391 error, when the blob contains an empty row. 
If you however unload the data from the regular table and use 
this unload in the creation of the external table, 
the data can be inserted back into the regular table.
