INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / C10 - IDS 12.10

Onbar using EMC NetWorker storage manager can abort immediately 
after connecting to storage manager. 
A dependency on BAR_DEBUG setting has been observed, but this is 
deemed purely accidental. 
 
bar_act.log might contain:

No meaningful bar_debug output could be obtained as setting 
BAR_DEBUG to anything higher than 1 would have avoided the 
problem. 
 
Closer inspection showed the crash is occurring in an initial 
call to BSAGetEnvironment() XBSA function.

An easy workaround is setting IFX_BAR_NO_LONG_BUFFERS 
environment variable.
