DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2

DB2 can trap during compiling a query under rare circumstances, 
when either one of the following conditions is true: 
 
- the query meets the criteria to be recognized as a star schema 
for the purposes of a zigzag join, and if the query includes 
more than one fact table with common associated dimension tables 
- the query contains XML path expressions

If the trapping query is eligible for zigzag join, then the 
problem can be worked around by disabling zigzag join, that is, 
by setting DB2_REDUCED_OPTIMIZATION=ZZJN OFF
