INFORMIX WHSE A / 5725D1400 / C10 - IDS 12.10

For an offloaded query you may observe an error like 
 
26561: cannot map to Informix sqlcode:  IWA 
error:-904,'57011',Task 
canceled:QueryExecutionTerminatedPremature 
 
This is reported for a query with a case expression on a 
varchar() column and an inner join on two tables. 
 
When the datatype of the column used in the case expression is 
changed from varchar() to char() the error does not happen. This 
may serve as a temporary circumvention for you.
