SQL COMMAND CAN TERMINATE WITH SQL ERROR -242 AND ISAM ERROR -104 WHEN VIOLATIONS AND DIAGNOSTICS TABLES ARE USED |

When using violations and diagnostics tables you might observe
SQL commands within one session terminate with SQL error code
-242 and ISAM error -104.
The ISAM error code -104 means "too many files open". When you
have a look at the output of onstat -g opn for the affected
session you will see more than 32700 open table entries with the
partition numbers of the violations and diagnostics table
appearing repeatedly. |
