INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / C10 - IDS 12.10

When you have a remote database server configured with different 
names via DBSERVERALIAS the second remote connect to a different 
server name than the first can fail with errors -908 -27001. 
This happens when trusted connections are configured. 
 
Within dbaccess you will see the following: 
 
> select count(*) from db@servername1:systables; 
 
 
      (count(*)) 
 
              70 
 
1 row(s) retrieved. 
 
> select count(*) from db@servername2:systables; 
 
  908: Attempt to connect to database server (servername2, 
conerr=-27001, oserr=0) failed. 
 
This is independent from the order in which you try to access 
the servers.
