INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / C10 - IDS 12.10

Installation on IDS 10 allowed creation of the Informix service 
to run as the Local System Account. 
At that time, one would run the setup for IFF as follows: 
 
: setup.exe ?system 
: During the install, the Informix user was not created. 
 : Informix software was installed, and it 
   created the service running as the Local System Account. 
 
In IDS version 11, The install process 
: introduced the ability to create the Informix service running 
as the local system account. 
: the option was available to NOT create the Informix user, and 
things worked as expected. 
 
In IDS version 12, during the install, 
: the option to create the Informix service running as the Local 
System account is present 
: the option to NOT create the Informix user is present 
 
However, when an installer selects the option to 
: Create the Service instance, but not initialize it, the 
service instance is not created. 
 
This is incorrect behavior.
