Informix - Problembeschreibung

Problem IT10728 Status: Geschlossen

MAIN_LOOP ABENDING IN NEED_TO_CKPT() WITH AUTO_CKPTS ON AND RAS_PLOG_SPEED
VERY LOW

Produkt:
INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / C10 - IDS 12.10
Problembeschreibung:
An 'fpe' floating-point-exception (or
EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO on Windows) can occur in main_loop
thread doing need_to_ckpt() shortly after engine fast recovery
if using RTO_SERVER_RESTART, AUTO_CKPTS is On, RAS_LLOG_SPEED is
0 and RAS_PLOG_SPEED non-zero, but below 8.

An engine configured this way will not be able to stay up for
more than a few seconds after fast recovery completed.
