Problem IC69382 | Status: Closed |
DB2DART /DDEL EXTRACTS DATA WITH DEFAULT KEYWORD INSTEAD OF THE DEFAULT VALUE.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 910 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When a table has a column with any one of the following definitions, db2 "create table t2 (in int not null with default 0 compress system default, in1 int ) value compression" db2 "create table t3 (in int not null compress system default, in1 int) value compression" db2 "create table t5 (ch char not null with default ' ' compress system default, in int) value compression" the DEFAULT will be dumped by /DDEL when the column is not null with compress system default, but the default value or data itself inside column is 0 or empty char. Ideally, db2d2dart /DDEL should output either 0 or empty string depending on the data type.
