.NET CORE: USING IFXDATAADAPTER WITH DATE TYPE THROWS "UNABLE TOCAST OBJECT TO TYPE 'INFORMIX.NET.CORE.IFXDATETIME...'"

| Problem description: |
When selecting a date type using IfxDataAdapter, the following
exception like the following will be thrown when using the
Informix .NET Core provider:
Unable to cast object of type 'Informix.Net.Core.IfxDateTime' to
type 'System.IConvertible'.Couldn't store in
order_date Column. Expected type is DateTime.
The same code works fine with the regular Informix .NET
provider.
The workaround is to use an IfxDataReader instead. |
