ERROR -998 NOT FOUND WITH FINDERR

| Problem description: |
SQL error -998 appears in the output of 'onstat -g ses' or
'onstat -g sql'.
But, finderr will not return anything:
Message number -998 not found.
To my understanding, the -998 error is used internally only.
Seeing the 998 error is really just a chance viewing of
something internal you aren't meant to see. If there truly was a
problem with the application or the database server related to
the internal error -998, then an appropriate error would be
returned.
However finderr should be return a hint stating this error is
purely internal. Otherwise every attentive user will be
irritated. |
