CDC DOES NOT WORK WITH CONNECTION MANAGER WHEN CONNECTING VIA A GROUP NAME

| Problem description: |
When connecting to the database via a Connection Manager group
name, the call to cdc_opensess() will result in a possible
-83721 error.
Using InfoSphere Data Replication (CDC), the following error
text is seen:
The log reader has encountered a problem.
Failed to open session.
Error Message: The first parameter passed to the function is not
valid.
Possible Cause: The Informix server name specified for the
instance is not DBSERVERNAME. Please re-create the instance with
the correct DBSERVERNAME. |
