Informix - Problem description
Problem IT41397 | Status: Closed |
CONNECT BY QUERY CREATES UNIQUE ROW AND MULTISET TYPES IN SYSXTDDESC TABLE AND THEY ARE NOT REMOVED
product: | |
INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / C10 - IDS 12.10
Problem description: | |
Query with "connect by" clause creates the following ROW and MULTISET types with session id and random number in system catalogue tables. There is nobody else who will ever reference these types except a session with the same session id and server will delete those types as soon as the query execution completes. If we execute procedure having SQLs with CONNECT BY clause in parallel, can cause the server to close the session without deleting these types from the system catalog tables. As a consequence the tables sysxtdtypes, sysxtddesc, and sysattrtypes are filled with useless records.
