BACKUP DATA VERSION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ONLINE VERSION IF USING STDIO WITHIN DIFFERENT SPECIAL BUILD VERSIONS

You'll get following error and unable to restore an archive from
one patched version to another if using -t STDIO
ie. archive was taken on 14.10.FC7W1X7 and a restore attempt on
14.10.FC7W1X8 will show:
Backup data version is not compatible with Online version:
IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 14.10.FC7W1X8
Physical restore failed - function Invalid archive tape failed
code -1 errno 0 |
