A DBSCHEMA OR DBEXPORT WILL HANG IF THE THE DATABASE IS CREATED WITH 8859-2 CODE SET AND CLIENT_LOCALE IS SET TO UTF8.

| Problem description: |
A dbschema or dbexport will hang if the database is created with
8859-2 code set (e.g. hr_HR.8859-2) and CLIENT_LOCALE is set to
utf (e.g. hr_HR.utf8).
The dbschema/dbexport session will be stuck in "cond wait
netnorm" with the last parsed SQL as:
Last parsed SQL statement :
select extentsize, flags, sbspace from informix.syscolattribs
where tabid
= ? and colno = ?
The dbschema/dbexport command does not hang if CLIENT_LOCALE is
set to 8859-2 too. |
