The document type affected by this defect is Office Open XML
Format document (DOCX, PPTX, XLSX file), which file signature is
not "50 4B 03 04 14 00 06 00", and has embedded image.
When UPDATE INDEX command fails, the following IQQP0008W message
with -20427 error code will be logged in the event view
SYSIBMTS.TSEVENT_nnnnnn.

You will also see the IQQP0008W messages in default0.log and
trace0.log files induced by "-logLevel FINER -trace on" option
of admintool configureTrace command as well.

filter was not found or the MIME type [image/png] is
unsupported.
This 2-hour timeout is configured by UPDATETIMEOUTINMINUTES in
SYSIBMTS.SYSTSDEFAULTS table and you can reduce the hanging
UPDATE INDEX command duration by tuning of
UPDATETIMEOUTINMINUTES value as below.
ex, update SYSIBMTS.SYSTSDEFAULTS set value = XXX where
name='UPDATETIMEOUTINMINUTES'
Note: This value should not be changed unless IBM Support
suggests. Currently its default is 120 and valid range is 5 -
