On following scenario:

If we run the following sequence of commands:
[informix@oc8630882863 backups]$ onpsm -D del
/home/informix/prods/12.10/FC9/backups/log1 -d -y
[informix@oc8630882863 backups]$ onpsm -D add
/home/informix/prods/12.10/FC9/backups/log1 -t FILE -g LOGPOOL
[informix@oc8630882863 backups]$ onpsm -D update
/home/informix/prods/12.10/FC9/backups/log1 -g LOGPOOL -p
HIGHEST
Segmentation fault
Next time command is run it successfully updates the priority.
[informix@oc8630882863 backups]$ onpsm -D update
/home/informix/prods/12.10/FC9/backups/log1 -g LOGPOOL -p
HIGHEST
If on AIX , will get:
