| Problem description: |
When taking an archive using onbar, the PSM storage manager and
devices on Amazon S3, the archive can fail with
"ifxcurl_easy_perform() failed(35): SSL connect error."

A workaround is to use the libcurl library included with the OS:
1) determine the name of the libcurl library file, example:
$ ls -l /usr/lib64/libcurl.so*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Jul 17 2017 /usr/lib64/libcurl.so ->
libcurl.so.3.0.0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Jul 17 2017 /usr/lib64/libcurl.so.3 ->

2) In this example, set
IFX_LIBCURL_PATH=/usr/lib64/libcurl.so.3.0.0 (use the path and
name of file returned from your environment).
3) Take the database offline and bring the database server
online with this environment variable set in the server start-up
environment.
4) try the archive to S3 again |
