Problem description: | |
In a single node DB2 environment which is made HA via db2haicu, the instance owner's home directory does not need to be specified in the input XML file provided to db2haicu, i.e. the following db2haicu sample XML file should not contain an entry for the instance owner's home directory: http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEPGG_10.5.0/com.ibm .db2.luw.admin.ha.doc/doc/r0053127.html The following line should be removed from the XML file: and replaced with other mount points that need to be made HA. The instance owner's home directory will be automatically made HA. If db2haicu is run with the instance owner's home directory specified in the XML, then the following db2diag.log error will be seen and can be safely ignored: 2016-04-05-16.04.37.447624+540 E51911E476 LEVEL: Severe PID : 11582 TID : 140618422126400 PROC : db2haicu INSTANCE: db2inst1 NODE : 000 HOSTNAME: host01 FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, high avail services, handleEndElement, probe:5118 MESSAGE : Error creating mount resource: Mount being used by some other Resource Group.
