DB2 - Problem description
Problem IT17770 | Status: Closed |
MEMORY LEAK IN TASK SCHEDULER AS ATSTASK OBJECTS ARE NEVER DESTROYED
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
The Administrative Task Scheduler can cause memory leaks in the 'db2acd' process because the task objects AtsTask are not freed. This can be observed using tools like 'ps -elf' or 'svmon'. One would see the memory for the 'db2acd' process grow over time. The more tasks executed the bigger the rate.
