DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT19230 Status: Closed

MON_GET_UNIT_OF_WORK INTERFACE - UOW_LOG_SPACE_USED REPORTING MIGHT BE
INCORRECT

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B10 - DB2
Problem description:
uow_log_space_used - Unit of work log space used monitor element
- might report incorrect amount number of bytes.
In fact you might observe that the figures might go backwards if
it is called multiple times.

The original intent of the element was to report all the log
space required for the current uow which would include both the
log bytes written as well as any space reserved to support a
rollback by the uow. However, the current implementation
apparently only reports the "reserved space" and not the "actual
number of log bytes written" within the uow.
