DB2 - Problem description
Problem IT20912 | Status: Closed |
UPGRADING DB2 V10.1 TO V11.1 WITH TEXT SEARCH RESULTS IN INCORRECT CATALOG UPDATE
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When upgrading from DB2 v10.1 to v11.1 with a custom install selecting DB2 Text Search, the upgrade leaves text search in an incorrect intermediary state. The proper upgrade procedure from 10.1 to 11.1 should work by initially updating 10.1 to 10.5 then from 10.5 to 11.1. There is a bug with an incorrect catalog update which mistakenly skips the last update step.
