Problem IT29443 | Status: Closed |
DB2INSTANCE -LIST COMMAND FAILS AFTER ROCE ADAPTER FAILURE
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
db2instance -list should work even though an adapter fails on a host, however the current db2instance command fails with an error message in such situation. $ db2instance -list The member, CF, or host information could not be obtained. Verify the cluster manager resources are valid by entering db2cluster -cm -verify -resources. Check the db2diag.log for more information. In the db2diag.log, db2instance will log ECF_SQLHA_OBJECT_DOES_NOT_EXIST when checking the network resources before failing. 2019-01-18-15.28.35.258955+540 I179707810E647 LEVEL: Error PID : 1835 TID : 70367007313024 PROC : db2instance INSTANCE: db2inst1 NODE : 000 HOSTNAME: host1 FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, high avail services, sqlhaCheckNetworkAdapterOnHost, probe:4314 RETCODE : ECF=0x90000552=-1879046830=ECF_SQLHA_OBJECT_DOES_NOT_EXIST Cluster object does not exist DATA #1 : ZRC, PD_TYPE_ZRC, 4 bytes 0x827300CF DATA #2 : String, 8 bytes host1 DATA #3 : Boolean, 1 bytes false DATA #4 : unsigned integer, 8 bytes 4 DATA #5 : String, 0 bytes Object not dumped: Address: 0x0000000000000000 Size: 0 Reason: Address is NULL
