.NET ASSEMBLY FAILS TO BE REGISTERED IN THE GAC IF THE MACHINE DOESN'T HAVE .NET DEVELOPMENT INSTALLED

| Problem description: |
When you install Informix Client SDK or Informix Connect version
4.10 on a Windows machine
the .NET providers are not registered if the command gacutil.exe
is not present in the system for .NET 2.x and .NET 4.x.
Starting from Microsoft .NET 2.0 the command gacutil.exe is not
included in the runtime version of the .NET environment and it
is present only in the development version of .NET ( also known
as .NET SDK ). |
