SLOW ALTER ON A DATABASE CREATED BY ONLOAD FAILS WITH ERRORS -252/-102

| Problem description: |
If you create a database using the onload utility in 12.10.FC5
(and newer versions) and then run an 'ALTER TABLE' command which
is processed as a slow alter (i.e. the data are moved to new
partitions), the command fails with following errors:
252: Cannot get system information for table.
102: ISAM error: illegal argument to ISAM function.
If the database/table is created using 'CREATE' commands or
using dbimport, or if the ALTER TABLE command is processed as a
fast (in-place) alter, the problem is not seen. |
