UPGRADE OF SECONDARY SERVERS TO 12.10.XC8 FAILS

| Problem description: |
A secondary server, such as an HDR secondary or RSS, may be
upgraded as part of a rolling upgrade. When starting the
secondary server using 12.10.xC8 the upgrade process fails to
start. The online message log will indicate that the dbspaces
are down.
For example:
14:43:52 Conversion from version 12.10.xC4 Started
14:43:52 Cannot convert server. DBspace 'rootdbs' is down.
14:43:52 Cannot convert server. DBspace 'sbspace' is down.
14:43:52 Please reinstall your previous IDS version, start the
server and restore the DBspaces before attempting to convert
again.
14:43:52 oninit: Fatal error in shared memory initialization |
