"CANNOT UPDATE PAGEZERO" ERRORS WHILE UPGRADING FROM PRE-12.10.XC8 TO 14.10 LEAVING PAGEZERO IN A DUBIOUS STATE

| Problem description: |
Upgrading an instance from a version before 12.10.xC8 to 14.10
will modify pagezero's initial slot (#1) to its new, larger
shape, but store it on the page still with old slot length (252
rather than 276).
One consequence might be a corrupted second slot (#3) and, as a
consequence, "Cannot update pagezero" errors, typically seen on
secondary servers.
To see the problem run the following in version 14.10:
