TRANSPORT SCHEMAS FAILS WHEN TRANSPORTING OBJECTS WITH COMMENTS ON THEM

Problem description:
Whenever a user performs a transport operation using using the 
Transportable Schemas functionality (i.e. "restore db srcdb 
tablespace(tbsp1) schema(s1) transport into targetdb"), and any 
of the objects in the schemas being transporting have comments 
associated with them, the transport operation will fail with the 
following error: 
 
SQL2590N The requested RESTORE operation cannot be completed 
because a schema transport error has occurred. Reason Code: 16. 
 
The following entry will also be printed in the db2diag.log

Solution
The complete fix for this problem first appears in DB2 UDB 
Version 9 FixPak 3 and all thesubsequent FixPaks.
Workaround
Prior to running transport, remove all comments from objects in 
the schemas you wish to transport. You can readd the comments on 
these objects after the transport is complete.
