DB2 - Problem description
Problem IT19842 | Status: Closed |
NSE CHACKNSEINDEX UTILITY MAY RETURN CTE5257E REASON CODE "2"
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
An example of symptom and its command. $ checknseindex -p /db2inst1/SAMPLE/NODE0000 -i IXnnnnn -v ==> receives CTE5257E When the base table primary keys are variable length, checknseindex shouldn't fail index test when finding mismatching number of data blocks in the forward and backward mapping files. When the number of data blocks from these two files are not equal, checknseindex should scan both files and compare the mapping record counts in both files - pass the test when the mapping record counts match and report index corruption when mismatch.
