DB2 RESETS THE SYSLOG FACILITY TO USER |

| Problem description: |
If you have an application that uses the DB2 client and your
application uses the syslog functionality of the OS to report
messages into the system log by using openlog() with a facility
different than USER, when DB2 writes to db2diag.log, the
facility used by your application is reset to USER. |
