A federated query that has a function template over a GROUP BY
or UNION DISTINCT may fail with -901 "No ftslpd through GB/UNION
DISTINCT", e.g.:
SELECT CAST( NVL( MAX(OUT_DATE), FUNCTION_TEMPLATE()) AS
DECIMAL(30, 14))
FROM REMOTE_TABLE
GROUP BY OPERATION
SQL0901N The SQL statement or command failed because of a
database system
