In pureScale cluster following command might fail:
db2cluster -cfs -enter -maintenance
Unable to enter file system maintenance mode on the local host.

A diagnostic log has been saved to
'/tmp/ibm.db2.cluster.DTad7a'.
In the database logs we can find following entries,
that indicates something happened in
db2haCFSVerifyMaintenanceMode(),
db2haCFSSetClusterConfiguration() functions:

However there are no trace points in these functions and nothing
is dumped to the database logs.
This makes it difficult to pursue the cause of the failure.
The purpose of this APAR is to enhance the problem determination
code within these two functions to dump more
diagnostic data when the problem occurs. |
