DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT23420 Status: Closed

THE MOUNTV111_STOP.KSH SCRIPT MAY ERRONEOUSLY RUN THE FUSER -K COMMAND
AGAINST THE ROOT FILE SYSTEM

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B10 - DB2
Problem description:
There is logic within the mountV111_stop.ksh script to run the
"fuser -k" command against the provided mount path. Under normal
circumstances, the root file system path "/" should never be
provided as an input to the mountV111_stop.ksh script. There is
however no protection against providing the root file system "/"
as an input to the mountV111_stop.ksh script.

This APAR addresses this corner case scenario and ensures that
the mountV111_stop.ksh script will not take any action if the
root file system "/" is provided as an input to the script.
